The Sunobe is one of our most popular handmade cleavers and made for a boss. Based on the feedback we have received from our customers, we have decided to upgrade this iconic knife, so this is the 2021 new edition.

With its rustic charm, a unique piece of beauty was created, fully handmade from start to finish. This knife is full of history and generations of experience from professional blacksmiths who created a new standard of craftsmanship.

The blade of this knife is as rustic as exceptional and made from high manganese steel and clad steel. After the shape of the knife has been forged, the upper half is hammered. This not only gives the blade a unique look but also reduces sticking of food during cutting. In the end, this knife is sharpened and polished by hand.

Due to the large width and extreme sharpness of the blade, this knife is ideal for cutting tough meat and large vegetables. In addition, the knife can also be used as a scoop after cutting to transport the sliced products into the pan or onto a plate.

The non slip wooden handle features copper nails as well as an ergonomic full tang design, which makes the knife even more sturdy than it already is. The handle is also waterproof, antibacterial and heat resistant.

All in all this knife is a perfect piece of handmade art, so make sure you clean and dry the knife immediately after usage to ensure it lasting for a lifetime!
