The Aratogi Kiritsuke is a unique handmade beauty and our value for money bargain. It is ideally suited for the preparation of wok dishes and wafer-thin sushi. It also cuts and chops meat, fish, vegetables and herbs with ease. This knife is full of history and generations of experience from professional blacksmiths who created a new standard of craftsmanship.
For the blade 440C steel is used, which was forged by hand from experienced professionals. This complex process achieves a hardness of 60 ± 2 HRC and thus ensures a long lasting sharpness.
The handle is crafted from ebony and adapts ergonomically to every hand. In addition, the knife is perfectly balanced and enables fatigue free working. Make sure you clean and dry the knife immediately after usage to ensure it lasting for a lifetime!
